From Kaserola to Pasitera

If you're from Tagalog region then you must know what Kaserola and Pasitera is.

 

Anyway, this is my way of reducing, reusing, recycling. I turned this old burnt pot into a decoupaged planter. I spray painted the pot first to have a clean base for the printed origami paper.

White spray paint cost ~110php in Handyman.

I chose this oriental print in blue and green color from my origami paper stock.

Finished product. Neat eh?!

Vday Bouquet

 

What a clever alternative to the coveted roses.  Valentines will definitely last longer!

This bouquet is a bunch of succulents, mostly echeverias. The pink-flowering one is called Kalansuy which is also a succulent. 

Why do I love them? They're pretty, low maintenance and adds life to our home.
